Gemelli is such a popular restaurant that lives up to the hype. Do yourself a favour and say yes to the pasta.

This pasta was so great. The smoked chicken and prawn work so well together, and whatever spicing they used gave it so much flavour. I must admit on my part that It's so boring to go to a restaurant that's hyped so much, just to have a pasta, but I promise you I don't regret it.

Besides the bomb food, I would also come here if I was looking to host some sort of small intimate gathering. It's just the type of place you want to go to dressed up for, but you can still leave the place and not feel overdressed for wherever else you're going. The restaurant itself makes you feel like you're in a fancy place without feeling like you're surrounded by extremely serious people. Its the perfect setting for any type of occasion. It gives off such a versatile vibe, you could come here with family, for a business meeting, for a date, a day out, a reunion of sorts. Or host any event of your choice here.

The restaurant has warm hospitality. You feel comfortable but you are still treated like you are important. It caters to any person, kids, teenagers, and adults. When you are looking to eat really good food, in a modern contemporary restaurant, this is your best option. It is not overrated at all. Every great foodie should have a restaurant bucket list, and this should be one of them!

I'm a young student so I obviously came with my parents, so that's just a heads up in terms of the prices. But, if you're willing to part with your finest rands, go on.
