So filling. So great. Messy, which is great. It's actually five to making you feel uncomfortably full, so eat this when you're super hungry.
Thyme on Nicol is such a little gem of a restaurant. It's so price friendly, but with food that tastes like you paid a million rand for it. It's got a nice ambiance, with outside seating. I would be lying if i said there was an overwhelming sense of vibe from the restaurant, there is not anything extraordinary, however it is still a great place to eat at. If a vibe had a mood, I would classify this one as mellow. You aren't extremely excited but you aren't miserable either,
The one thing that stood out to me was the variety of seating plans, couches, high tables, and normal length tables. I don't know why I enjoyed this, but I did. This is the type of place you'd go to if you're looking for a quick good bite to eat. It's not for a large group, so go with 1/2 people. It's somewhere you can bring kids after school, a business meeting that shouldn't last long, or can't decide where to eat, so you just go here. The menu also has a lot of variety that could cater to anyone.
Overall, why I would return to this restaurant is because of the convenience, the taste as well as the versatility of the place. It is one of those places that will always feature in my favourite restaurants because of these factors.
