This may be very audacious but I want to call this the best Thai restaurant in Johannesburg.

The food is beyond amazing. The restaurant itself is very cute, some may call it alternative, but it is that good alternative where everyone feels like they belong there, but the hipsters still feel in their vibe. If that makes sense!

The Good Luck Club is a small corner restaurant in Illovo that needs so much more hype than it is getting. I came with one of my best friends and we had starters (not in picture) and mains and they were both so damn bomb. There was a perfect use of ingredients, I wont lie and say i know what they were but whatever it was, it worked really well. I finished my meal and still wanted more!

The restaurant vibe is also as good as the food. It truly caters for everyone, because it is so small and the tables are so far apart from each other, everyone feels like they have the restaurant is to themselves. It is the type of place you walk into and you just forget all your negative energy and just go in ready to eat good food, with good company. It is refreshing, it is different, it is lovely. So I would personally come here when I am looking to feed off some good energy, and eat some incredible food. It is perfect for lunch and dinner dates with whoever you want. This is the type of place you come to irrespective of the occasion.

Bring your parents, bring your best friedns, bring your kids, take yourselves. It would be a shame to restrict this resturant to a certain type of person.

Do yourself a favour and try this place out. It is worth every one of your finest South African rands!
