Best Tapas in Johannesburg

I was so fortunate to get to celebrate my 21st Birthday (very young foodie 🙈) at the Codfather, and I'm probably going to have the rest of my birthdays there too. Location is what brings perfection to events, and this 100% what the Codfather did for me. 

The restaurant has the most beautiful pool deck which is perfect for a summers day. It's a great place where you want to feel like you're treating yourself, however you're not subjected to that 'fancy' restaurant vibe. It's the perfect place to celebrate any event, birthdays, anniversary or just the simple pleasure of being alive you know? I think it's perfect for anyone from young adults and above, it is a little pricey, so I would suggest you go with the attitude that you're willing to spend money. It's got the perfect vibe, and also so amazing because you can create your own one too. And the two vibes together, just make perfection.

To the most important stuff, the food. I'm taken aback at how a variety of food could work so well together. I found myself eating things that I've never tasted, but had to just cause it looked so appetizing. All my guests looked like they were having the best time, simply because the food was so yummy. I really feel like I'm doing an injustice to how amazing it was, and wish my use of words weren't failing me like this, but I would just urge you to try it for yourself. It's everything you'd expect in good food and more.

Go with anyone you desire (Just not your bambinos) and treat yourself, anyone you love to some really good food, I know they're typically known for their seafood, but listen to your favourite foodie, and try the tapas! Maybe even host one your special events there too 😉
