Am I really good at eating?

I think I've been wanting to come to the Whippet for the past year. I mean, how dare I call myself a good blog and not have been to this popular cafe. So, yesterday, I dragged myself and my boyfriend and I finally got to asses the hype for myself. I will never forget this lunch day out, because of how much I truly did not enjoy my meal. Like I say all the time, I'm a champion eater, but this time I couldn't even finish my meal, so does this mean I'm not as good as eating as I thought?

It's got a really cute vibe to it. There set up of the restaurant reminds me of a really artistic persons house. The inside, could be the dining area, then the outside make up the patio and hosting area. This may be quite a far fetched example, but I didn't pick up a cafe vibe, but more a homey feel, which is perfect. They have background music playing, so if you're not into whatever they would be playing at the time, then that would be your reminder that you're not home. Either than that, it's warm, welcoming and pretty. It's the type of cafe you could enjoy a long breakfast at.

I was struggling to pinpoint what audience it tries to attract because there was such a diverse crowd of people. There were lovers, friends, families, little babies. Literally every type of human you could think of was there. So we could almost say that it's a cafe, for any person that society has to offer. It probably has a lot to do with the fact that it's so welcoming, so many people would want to be there.

To the most important part, the meal. My goodness you guys, I really did not enjoy any second of it. I must say, it has nothing to do with the actual preparation, I can imagine that was done the way it should have. It was the ingredients, my goodness they really have to warn people that it actually isn't a taste for everyone. I had this chicken Brie sandwich that also happened to have berries inside it. What a complete mess, I hated every second of it. It has such a peculiar taste that I just can't relate to. The berries and chicken combination is a definite no from me. My poor boyfriend had to share his meal with me simply so I could eat. I must say that his meal was brilliant. A good ol burger with the perfect flavouring, texture, and taste. So I guess we can conclude it's not a bad restaurant, just a bad meal. So, to any foodies that aren't a fan of different, strange ingredients. This sandwich is definitely not for you.

It was my first not so great time out a restaurant, and I guess, it was bound to happen. However, it would be unfair not to recommend the actual cafe, because it was lovely. Just don't have the sandwich I did.
