It’s been so long since I’ve sat down and wrote a blog post. You would under estimate how tricky it can be to jot down a couple words based on a restaurant. With that said, I am super happy that I get to come back with a post about this restaurant, because I think I should have a lot to say about this wonderful place.

I am sure you’ve seen the IG stories/posts of the restaurant that puts its sushi on fire. Literal fire. And without having to hear any reviews or recommendations, you want to go there. Because I mean, who doesn’t want to taste fired up sushi?

It was lovely, and not just cause of the super cool experience of seeing your food light up. Truly believe it should be/is one of Johannesburg’s greatest gems. I love everything about the restaurant. It’s chic, looks modern, and has an almost edgy vibe to it. It’s perfect to host birthday dinners, work celebrations, family get togethers but as also as amazing to have your first dates, and friendship catch ups. Because the food is a little pricey, but there’s also so much you would want to try without breaking the bank, it would be perfect to have it amongst a group of people so you can have it like tapas.

The food is so great, I’m not a huge sushi fan (I can appreciate it, but not a die hard fan) but my life was semi changed by the sushi. I love the idea of crunchy sushi. My friends had stir fry and a steak and it was just as great.

The venue is really pretty, I kept imaging a birthday event being held there. Anything celebratory really. It’s just the type of place you want to make beautiful memories. Overall, a lovely restaurant, and will definitely make my way back really soon.
